• 957,000 young people in England are out of work.
• The number of young people claiming JSA for over six months in London has risen by 224 per cent in the last four years.
• The estimated cost, per annum, of a young person who is long-term unemployed and on Job Seekers Allowance is £5,400 – £16,000 per annum; over a lifetime it is £104,000.

Streetscape aims to make a difference to the young people behind these statistics by helping those who are long-term unemployed gain the skills, experience and attributes required for a lifetime of work. In the process, we recognise the contribution they make to society.

We do this by providing apprenticeships in our landscape gardening business: growing lives, transforming landscapes.
