Apprenticeships
Are you young, long-term unemployed and looking for a break?
Streetscape apprenticeships are about growing lives. Our aim is to enable you to fulfill your career objectives, by building the skills, experience and attributes you need to move into and retain work.
Our apprenticeships are paid and last a year, during which time you will spend the majority of your time learning soft and hard landscaping skills, and working onsite for residential, corporate and commercial clients. All the while you will be working under the expert guidance of one of our experienced landscapers and building evidence towards a Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Horticulture, assessed by KEITs through six-weekly visits.
In addition to training, Streetscape will pay for an external short course/horticultural licence of your choice, and contribute towards driving lessons and your theory and practical test.
We apply no geographic restriction on applicants, however, we are based in Myatt’s Fields Park, Lambeth, and the majority of our work is in South/South-East London so, if you’re not from this area, be prepared to travel!
What do we want from applicants? We are not worried about qualifications, experience or past problems. We are looking for candidates who are unemployed, aged 18-25 years old and have:
- A strong desire to work in an outdoor trade
- Drive and willingness to learn
- Team-player mentality
- A strong work ethic
- Honesty, openness, and a good sense of humour.
Interested? Why not contact us or come along to one of our recruitment days at Myatt’s Fields Park?
